Are you in love with looking at watercolor? Have you taken one or two painting classes and want more practice with the basics? Palette set up, color mixing, brush use, texture, composition, achieving light, and much more will be presented in enjoyable, easy to understand ways. Weekly demonstrations, art talks and critiques are included. No experience necessary, just patience and an open mind.

Want to try a more inventive abstract approach to painting? Connect with your adventurous artist self by combining watercolor with other water based mediums such as gouache, acrylic and ink along with optional collage and pastel. We’ll explore new ways to use color, texture, line and form expanding our understanding of composition. Discussions on well known abstract artists and art movements. Create a series of artworks.
